Counteracts the process of decomposition of the horn and is a liquid frog care solution which adheres well, developed specially for problem areas of the frog and white line. Simultaneously maintains and regenerates damaged, rotten horn, particularly when the centre and side clefts of the frog are softened and malodorous. After only 3-4 daily applications the horn of the frog is firmer and the clefts of the frog dry out. 250 ml.

Note to the user:

Basically, the treatment of thrush should initially be done by a farrier or hoof care practitioner who removes the loose horn and the horn covering the pockets, so that the damaged areas receive as much light and air as possible. The harmful germs are anaerobic nature, so love airtight, dark and moist environments. It should be treated daily for at least 4 – 5 days with the frog liquid, before drying the deep clefts (centre and side grooves) with a rag on a wooden tongued spatula. Keep changing the cloth, until it remains clean. Then with a a few drops (½ a teaspoon is enough) per hoof, rub it into the clefts and spread it deeper with the spatula. After 4 – 5 days a significant improvement should already occur. Afterwards lengthen the treatment intervals.

After 1 – 2 weeks the problem should be under control. Good stable hygiene, and kept more of less dry, helps to improve and speed up the healing process. The recessed pockets grow with the normal rate of growth of the hooves. As a preventive, applying once a week is enough. Open, bloody thrush, eg. injuries in the frog area, are ALWAYS A CASE FOR THE VET!
