MSM Plus

Supplement for horses. Powder mixture of MSM, chondroitin, glucosamine and immune system strengthening vitamin C (rose hips). MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a sulphur compound used in over 150 different building blocks in the body. MSM is first formed in a different form in the ocean, where it reacts with algae and finally finds its way into the horse’s pasture grass through precipitation. When grazing, the body absorbs the MSM in the digestive process via the small intestine. MSM is the only reasonable source of sulphur for horses, as pure sulphur cannot be absorbed by horses or is excreted through the skin and kidneys. In the horse’s body itself, MSM forms an important component of coat and horn as keratin and thus contributes to a healthy skin and coat structure as well as good hoof growth and solid horn quality. Bound to chondroitin, it is found in the horse’s connective tissue and is thus an essential component in the regeneration of cartilage and the formation of synovial fluid. It can thus promote a stable connective tissue. It is also involved in the activation of vitamin C and the formation of antibodies, thus actively strengthening the immune system. Another task of MSM is the detoxification of the organism from heavy metals and the removal of waste products from the individual cells. It thus supports liver and kidney function. Because it acts as an activator and transporter of important vital substances such as vitamins, glucosamine and chondroitin, it actively contributes to a healthy joint metabolism and can thus prevent premature wear and tear or slow down degenerative change processes in chronic joint diseases.

Cobs 20g/day Horses (from 600 kg) 30g/day.
1 measuring spoon (25ml) corresponds to approx. 18g.

Ingredients: Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 35%, alfalfa mea 26%, linseed cake meal 20%, nettle leaves (fines) 8%, rose hip powder 8%, glucosamine 2%, chondroitin sulphate 1%.
